It was first time I visited Carnitas 3 Hermanos in South Elgin. I ordered two pork tacos Mexican style, with a bottled water, my two companions ordered three pork tacos Mexican style, with cokes. The pork was seasoned very well, with generous portion size. Neither of my companions spoke English very well and I don't speak Spanish at all, but the young man taking the order was very gracious/helpful and helped them with their orders. If I'm ever around South Elgin, I will make an effort to stop in again. I would highly recommend Carnitas 3 Hermanos to anyone in the South Elgin area that was looking for good Mexican food at a reasonable price. P. Horn

We stopped by recently after just discovering that Carnitas 3 Hermanos was open, and we are so glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ordering was genuinely fun, and it honestly felt like hanging out with them while we waited for our food. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and that energy fills the whole place! They did a fantastic job refreshing the restaurant from the prior owners. It feels clean, bright, and really cute. The new look makes you want to come back again and again! And the food was fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for! It is such a win to finally have great Mexican food so close to home. It is affordable, convenient, and perfect for grabbing dinner on the way home without spending a fortune. I also love that it fits real life. You can sit and eat if you want, but the drive-thru makes it incredibly easy on busy days! The family that owns it is wonderful. Super friendly, fun, and clearly invested in the neighborhood. We are so excited to have them here and will absolutely be back often. Welcome to the neighborhood!!!

This place caught my eye from across the street and i had to stop in and try it. I’m so glad i did, i will be going back again today! The inside is very cool, great decor and booths to sit in, the workers were very nice and helped me decide on what to get, even let me order a barbacoa burrito which I didn’t see on the menu. It was so delicious and my friend loved her steak tacos, they looked so good. I live in Ohio and am visiting Illinois but I wish we had one of these where I live. The verde sauce in the bottle was so delicious, very quick service too. I want nothing but the best for this restaurant and the people who work there!
